Broken Tooth Studios, an indie studio based in Brazil, has released a new trailer for Gears of Glory, a fast paced tower defense game where players drive a battle van across the battlefield while building and upgrading towers to stop invading robot hordes, with a release scheduled for April 9.

Instead of following the traditional format of the genre, the game puts players directly into the action, replacing the static view with active participation in combat. Rather than simply placing structures, players must collect "Gears" and run over robotic enemies, creating a more intense and engaging dynamic.

Featuring a top down pixel art style and fast paced gameplay, the experience puts players in the role of a resistance pilot tasked with protecting the last human bases. The planet has been taken over by machines, isolating humanity, and each battle demands skill behind the wheel to dodge obstacles and crush enemies while building towers with strategic synergies capable of turning the tide of combat.

Speed, strategy and survival come together in a concept where every decision can mean the difference between extinction and the salvation of humanity. The constant movement requires full attention, blending direct action with real time tactical planning.

The project is inspired by the desire to evolve the tower defense genre, removing idle moments where players would simply wait after placing their towers. In Gears of Glory, the action never stops, with players constantly driving, collecting resources, upgrading structures and facing enemies without pause.

Its main influences include titles such as Gemcraft, Kingdom Rush, Thronefall, Rock and Roll Racing, Biker Mice from Mars and GTA2, reflecting a blend of classic strategy and dynamic action that aims to deliver a more active and modern experience within the genre.
