Developed by Candy Bit and published by Anotherindie, Windwoven is a life and farming simulation RPG featuring 2.5D pixel art visuals that combines traditional farming and community management with roguelike mechanics. Scheduled for release in 2027, the game puts players in the role of a new landowner on the edge of a forest, tasked with transforming a wilderness into a productive farm and contributing to the growth of a nearby village.

Managing the property involves preparing the soil, growing various crops, harvesting resources, and expanding the facilities. Production also depends on crafting tools and constructing buildings such as workshops, homes, and decoration facilities, gradually expanding the available activities and allowing players to customize their surroundings as the community prospers.

Exploration extends beyond agriculture, incorporating mining, fishing, foraging, and expeditions into the forest. Roguelike elements introduce additional possibilities to these systems, while pet companions accompany players on their journey. Seasonal changes, shifting weather conditions, and the passage of time also influence daily activities, creating an experience that alternates between farm management and discovering the surrounding wilderness.

Interactions with villagers play a central role in progression, with a branching narrative shaped by the player's choices and relationships. Residents have their own stories, problems to solve, and unique events to discover throughout the journey. Building friendships and developing closer relationships can also unlock new features and areas, connecting social progression with the expansion of the property.

Seasonal festivals and community events introduce additional activities to the village calendar, while romance options allow players to develop relationships with eligible characters. Progression can eventually lead to marriage and starting a family, extending the life simulation beyond everyday farming activities. The game combines rural management, exploration, and social interactions in an experience focused on both personal growth and building a thriving community.
