PQube, in partnership with CIRCLEfromDOT, has released a new twenty minute gameplay showcase for Kusan: City of Wolves, a brutal top down shooter set in a neon drenched city where a single mistake is enough to mean death. The footage highlights the project’s intense identity and makes it clear that every encounter demands total precision from the player.
The video emphasizes fast and lethal combat, with rooms that must be cleared efficiently, parries executed at the exact right moment, and clean finishers that leave no room for hesitation. The different War Hand styles noticeably change the flow of fights, offering immediate variations in how players attack and defend.
Another core element of the experience is constant interaction with the environment, which can be smashed to collect Bolts used for instant upgrades. This loop of smashing, collecting, and evolving encourages continuous experimentation and rewards mastery of the mechanics in a short amount of time, keeping progression consistently dynamic.
The soundtrack by Korean hip hop artist Loptimist sustains the tension from start to finish and intensifies every moment of action in Kusan: City of Wolves. A PC demo will be released in early March, with versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch arriving shortly after, while players can already wishlist the game on Steam and follow updates through the official Discord.
