Nuntius Showcase 2026 surpasses expectations with record audience and major indie game announcements

Nuntius Showcase 2026 took place today, April 17, and, according to the organizers, exceeded all expectations by attracting more than double the audience of the previous edition, with thousands of live viewers and strong engagement from content creators, including reactions from names like HadesPlays on YouTube and Carrasquera on Twitch.
The presentation was hosted by Rodrigo Coelho and Alessandro Velberan, two of the leading figures in the Brazilian gaming scene, guiding an edition packed with exciting announcements and updates.
Nuntius Games also announced a special Steam sale, featuring the biggest discounts ever applied to its catalog, reaching up to 60% off and further expanding the reach of the showcased titles.
Among the highlights:
Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders received an official release date of May 7. The game is a fast-paced arcade shooter with multiplayer, set in Santos, São Paulo, where players face alien hordes in intense combat.
Heroes of Magic and Steel was confirmed for May 28 on Steam, blending strategy and RPG elements with continuous progression, tactical combat, and build customization, making it ideal for players who enjoy character development and battle planning.
Arashi Gaiden arrives on June 11 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and One, as well as Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 via backward compatibility. The title features turn-based combat with hack and slash elements, set in the same universe as Pocket Bravery, recognized as the only fully Brazilian game nominated at The Game Awards.
Shard Squad, a successful roguelike with monster taming mechanics, will launch on Android later this year, marking just one of several updates planned for 2026, with more news expected soon.
Spooky Tales also stood out by presenting an anthology of four stories that blend humor and horror, inspired by the aesthetics and storytelling of the PlayStation 1 era, focusing on atmosphere and memorable experiences.
Cordels & Spells received a free demo based on player feedback, bringing improvements to gameplay and balance while maintaining its unique proposal of combining cordel-inspired storytelling with creative mechanics.
CODE Bunny announced the free Director's Cut expansion, adding new story content, characters, and fresh gameplay elements, expanding the original experience that was already well received and nominated for several awards.
Another highlight was Triuno Ascend, a new project from Statera Studio that promises innovative mechanics and a high level of production within the indie scene, reinforcing the studio's relevance in the market.
Machick 2 showcased more details of its upcoming free DLC, Journey East, which will feature a Chinese-inspired theme and nearly double the game's content with new challenges, chickens, powers, and more, along with a collaboration with Shard Squad later in April, adding a new chicken for free.
