Independent studio Optizonion has announced the Early Access launch of Hive Blight, a tactical roguelite auto battler with an insect themed world. In the game players lead the insect resistance against the mysterious Fungomancer and his corrupted fungal minions. The experience places different clans in strategic conflict while the kingdom struggles to survive a spreading corruption that threatens to destroy everything.

The central premise puts players in command of a team of insect warriors who must confront the fungal blight unleashed by the main antagonist. As the studio explains, "Hive Blight is a roguelite autobattler where you lead a team of insect warriors against a spreading fungal corruption brought by the mysterious Fungomancer. Unite rival clans, build powerful synergies, and push back the Blight to save the kingdom from collapse."

Each run offers deep tactical variety thanks to more than 30 unique units inspired by real life insects. Every creature features distinct abilities and stats which encourages careful drafting and the creation of powerful team synergies. As challenges escalate players will face increasingly dangerous encounters including boss battles that test strategy and team composition.
