The demo for the cozy RPG Bad Delivery: Pizza Your Heart is now available on Steam, introducing players to the new project by nihomi, an artist, writer, and solo game developer with a passion for narrative driven games, especially visual novels. The experience invites players into a lighthearted and humorous routine set inside a pizzeria, blending storytelling with interactive gameplay elements.
"Bad Delivery: Pizza Your Heart is a short and cozy comedy RPG about working at a pizzeria. You follow Belle over the course of her first week at PZA. Bake pizzas, go on delivery runs, and build your relationship with your coworkers!" The story follows Belle during her first week on the job as she learns new tasks, completes deliveries, and builds relationships with coworkers and customers throughout her daily routine.
The demo allows players to experience the first two playable days, offering a glimpse of the narrative pacing and core mechanics. During this time, players can learn up to 15 unique pizza recipes, combined in countless order variations within the cooking minigame, encouraging experimentation and creativity with every request received.
Another highlight is the delivery system, which features up to 20 quirky customers, each with their own distinct interactions that reinforce the comedic tone of the experience. In addition, three different shifts can be played, each presenting unique story moments and cutscenes that further expand the world created by the developer.
The demo also includes several easter eggs scattered throughout the game, rewarding player curiosity and encouraging multiple playthroughs, while reinforcing the cozy and narrative driven charm that defines the overall proposal of the project.
