The Viet Indie Week is now live on Steam, marking the debut of a new event dedicated to games developed by Vietnamese studios. The initiative brings together more than 100 titles created by local developers as well as partners from across Southeast Asia, expanding the visibility of the region’s indie scene on a global stage.

The event runs from April 28 to May 5, 2026, featuring special discounts and themed updates in celebration of the Hung Vuong Festival and Liberation Day. As an additional highlight, Steam’s Vietnam front page will be fully dedicated to the event on April 30, reinforcing its reach.

Among the highlights:

Just A Shadow Game blends deckbuilding mechanics with horror RPG elements, placing players under the guidance of a demonic entity acting as the game master. The experience revolves around crafting dark rituals and strategic card-based play, with roguelite progression and encounters against ancient gods.

Grim Trials takes a more action-driven approach, featuring a heavy metal-inspired aesthetic and a robust system for crafting and customizing weapons and equipment. The game encourages varied combat styles, allowing players to shape their own approach while facing intense challenges within a roguelite loop.

TCG Card Shop Simulator offers a more strategic experience, putting players in charge of running a card shop. Management ranges from stocking products to organizing events and hiring staff, creating a dynamic ecosystem that simulates the growth of a business centered around collectible card games.
