Watermelo will be part of the official coverage team for the Mundo Gamer Showcase 2026 March 20 Edition, which takes place on March 20 at 2 PM BRT (1 PM ET / 10 AM PT / 6 PM CET / 5 PM GMT), with a global broadcast across Mundo Gamer Network channels, including Mundo Gamer TV on YouTube and Twitch, as well as restreams by media partners and content creators around the world. The initiative reinforces the outlet’s presence in promoting independent projects on an international scale.

Following the debut of its first edition in 2025, the Mundo Gamer Showcase returns expanding its mission of presenting indie games to a global audience, strengthening the connection between developers, players, press, and content creators. This new edition aims to further establish itself as a key platform for showcasing creative productions from different parts of the world.

This year’s line-up features a wide creative diversity, bringing together adventure, RPG, puzzle, strategy, simulation, action, platforming, sports, horror, narrative experiences, and experimental projects. This variety reflects the plurality of the contemporary indie scene and highlights the innovative potential of the participating studios.

With developers coming from Latin America, Europe, North America, and other regions, the event demonstrates how independent development continues to transcend borders, connecting global communities through new interactive experiences. The broadcast will feature brand-new trailers, announcements, and a variety of exciting updates throughout the program.

According to Guilherme Cortez, founder and CEO at Mundo Gamer Network: "Hosting the second edition of the Mundo Gamer Showcase is very special for us. Organizing a global event like this without being a publisher or a major platform is a huge challenge. We are deeply grateful to the studios that trusted us to present their games, to the media partners helping spread the word about this initiative, and to the content creators producing coverage and streams about the participating projects."
