Indie developer Total Mayhem Games, known for the award-winning series of asymmetric co-op puzzle games We Were Here, has announced that the first three titles in the franchise will arrive on Nintendo Switch™ later this year. Nintendo players will soon be able to grab their thick coats and tune their walkie-talkies, as We Were Here, We Were Here Too, and We Were Here Together will be available on the Nintendo eShop, letting adventurous duos uncover the mysteries of Castle Rock’s curse wherever they are, whether on the go or at home in docked mode.

All three games will also be backwards compatible with Nintendo Switch™ 2, meaning that Explorers will be able to take on the series’ challenges together even when using different console versions. Total Mayhem Games is also working on cross-platform support for these first three titles, expanding the reach and possibilities for co-op play.

Thomas Huster, Operations Director at Total Mayhem Games, expressed his excitement about the news: "We're very excited to welcome players on Nintendo Switch™ to the We Were Here Series! At Total Mayhem Games, we strive to have friends, family and new relations connect through our games, no matter the platform. Nintendo's take on fun and togetherness aligns perfectly with our vision."

In the series, players take on the roles of Antarctic explorers trapped in a mysterious base, often separated and relying solely on communication to solve asymmetric puzzles, each player receives different information. Cooperation is key, and teamwork is tested through each puzzle within the haunted realm of Castle Rock.

To play on Nintendo Switch™, a Nintendo Switch Online membership is required, along with a headset with microphone or another way to communicate with your partner. With its debut on Nintendo’s portable platform, the series is ready to reach even more explorers eager to face the unknown side by side.
