Developed by Farom Studio, Age After Age now has a public demo available on Steam, focused on narrative and socioeconomic systems, placing players in an island setting already affected by economic and social problems. The experience begins with a settlement facing production and supply difficulties, requiring players to reorganize the city, manage resources, and make decisions capable of influencing the future of society.

The demo brings together the main elements of the gameplay loop, allowing players to build and manage a small settlement, connect production buildings, and use the logistics system to transport resources between structures. Economic management is also central to the experience, particularly when identifying and solving shortages caused by inefficient or disrupted supply chains, while part of the island can be explored to uncover story elements connected to the conflict between religion and science.

The choices made throughout the scenario also influence its outcome, directing society toward a path closer to the classic age or an alternative future. The experience works as a focused sample of the full production, combining construction, logistics, economy, exploration, and social decisions within a single scenario without providing the open structure of a sandbox mode.

The full game will significantly expand these systems with 12 handcrafted islands, progression from a small pier to a global power, larger production and logistics networks, different citizen class needs, and local and global trading systems. Diplomacy, sanctions, blockades, alliances, market competition, full research trees, laws, government policies, and multiple eras will also be part of the experience, including alternative paths such as Steampunk, Gothic, Industrial, and Utopian, alongside a broader selection of buildings, technologies, resources, and long term decisions.

Some of these features remain locked in the demo to preserve the progression and discoveries planned for the full release. The experience has been designed as a focused vertical slice of the game, offering an introduction to its core systems of logistics, economy, construction, exploration, and society shaping decisions.
