NerveQuake Software Inc. presents .VXE as the gateway into a collapsing neon universe where a rogue malware awakens with a hunger for revenge and turns digital chaos into spectacle. Set to launch in the second quarter of 2026 on PC via Steam, the title immerses players in a high velocity bullet heaven full of dazzling effects, extreme movement and the unexpected help of cats that inhabit this cybernetic labyrinth.
The journey follows a rebellious program that, after being captured and used as entertainment by its creators, finds in the aid of a mysterious hacker the opportunity to rewrite its own destiny. In this deteriorating space every defeated line of code strengthens the protagonist, allowing players to customize weapons, upgrade abilities and summon digital entities that stack power until reaching astonishing levels of destruction.
Movement is one of the core pillars of the experience, granting players the freedom to run slide and teleport with precision. Those who master these maneuvers are continually rewarded, but there is also room for explosive unsophisticated approaches capable of turning the malware into a devastating force that hardly needs to aim.
Close range combat adds a stylish layer to the battles evoking the flair of a true digital ninja. Strikes can generate shockwaves incorporate elemental modifiers such as SHOCK FIRE and BIT BLEED and even surprise enemies with unpredictable effects. Each weapon functions as a programmable entity with firing sequences reload effects enhancements and overclock chips that invite both min maxing and chaotic experimentation.
Build possibilities extend beyond weaponry reaching essential movement skills elemental buffs and combos capable of scaling from simple knockback waves to large scale apocalyptic destruction. This system allows each player to find the ideal balance between agility brute force and creativity.
As players progress through the story mode the protagonist unlocks access to SIMULATORs arenas that serve as true survival tests in a roguelite format. Once used by former captors as a form of entertainment these environments now represent the key to a possible final escape turning adversity into opportunity.
Among its main highlights are fluid movement with teleportation a vibrant cyber fantasy world fully customizable melee guns and throwables skill progression character customization and the option to choose between an overworld story mode or roguelite horde arenas.
