Organized by Capital Games, the video game cluster in Île de France, Paris Game Biz reaffirmed its role as one of the most important B2B events dedicated to connecting studios and investors from around the world. Held on October 28 and 29, the second edition confirmed the success of its debut, attracting even more publishers, investors and partners united by a shared passion for the games industry and its creative potential.

True to its ambition of fostering strategic connections, the event exceeded expectations with 515 qualified meetings carefully arranged between participating studios and investors. Over two days, 175 participants took part in sessions that included 70 studios from ten countries, from France and Germany to India and the United States, alongside 35 French and international buyers and three thematic workshops. The format was praised for its precision and professionalism, with several advanced discussions already underway. "It's a warming event; there's a real connection between people and the opportunity to exchange in a more meaningful, enjoyable way, with a bit more time to spend with everyone," said Gabriel Esteves, Akeya, historic sponsor of Paris Game Biz.

The event’s activities extended beyond traditional networking. Guided by Abrial Da Costa from Capital Games and Playdigious, a delegation of 13 international figures visited the offices of Amplitude Studios, where they discovered the strengths and successes of the French video game industry. The visit featured presentations on national initiatives led by the CNC, insights into the inner workings of a AAA studio, and showcases of French success stories such as Sandfall Interactive and Evil Empire. The day concluded with a dinner in Montmartre, where participants met with representatives of fifteen studios and industry figures.

Paris Game Biz also reinforced its international scope by highlighting collaborations across Europe and Asia. Among the initiatives were the efforts of Monika Butterbrodt and Lorenz Wiedemann of the Franco German Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with Laura Thümmler from Game, to bring together a delegation of German studios and publishers. Madrid in Game presented the Spanish ecosystem, while Kodansha and Ludimus introduced Indie Game Lab Japan 2026, the first Franco Japanese game design incubation program supported by the French Institute and CNC, with applications open until December 18, 2025.

Cultural exchange was another defining element of the event. International attendees were treated to a symphonic concert of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a French RPG celebrated for its artistic direction and global acclaim. The following evening, a cocktail reception at the legendary Studio Harcourt, a symbol of French cultural heritage since 1934, showcased twelve portraits of iconic characters from French video games. These works, created by five renowned studios including Arkane Studios, Cyanide Studio, Don't Nod, Focus Entertainment and Sloclap, celebrated the creative excellence that continues to define France’s gaming scene.

With this edition, the event not only consolidated its reputation as a premier business hub but also as a cultural platform where artistry and industry meet. The synergy between creators, investors and institutions highlighted the vitality of the European gaming ecosystem and reaffirmed the event’s role as a catalyst for meaningful international collaboration. Paris Game Biz continues to embody the spirit of innovation, creativity and connection that drives the global video game community forward.
