Crunch Moonkiss Studios has released the demo for REMAIN AT YOUR DESK on Steam, alongside a new announcement trailer. Developed by a solo creator, the simulation game combines incremental mechanics and hacking gameplay within a corporate routine marked by paranoia, data manipulation, and false appearances.

In the game, players take on the role of an employee living a double life inside a massive corporation. During office hours, the objective is to appear productive by completing reports, synchronizing databases, and handling repetitive tasks in order to secure promotions and avoid suspicion. Once the workday ends, however, the real operation begins, as players infiltrate the company network to steal confidential information that can later be sold on the black market.

The risk system serves as one of the core pillars of progression. Every intrusion increases suspicion within the company, and pushing too far eventually attracts audits and interrogations. If the player fails to maintain a convincing story, their entire career collapses and they are demoted back to Intern, forcing them to rebuild everything from scratch.

The economy is divided between credits and intel. Credits are earned through regular office work and can be used to purchase automation tools, upgrades, and resources that accelerate progression. Intel, on the other hand, is only obtained during hacking operations and unlocks far more valuable advantages, including permanent upgrades purchased through the Black Market after major promotions. The persona system further expands strategic possibilities, allowing players to infiltrate networks under false identities such as janitors, IT administrators, or corporate consultants.

Another standout feature is the leverage system, which encourages players to revisit the same targets in order to build permanent dossiers. These files uncover internal conflicts, security weaknesses, and executive secrets capable of reshaping future runs. The prestige loop reinforces the experience by rewarding successful promotions with stronger multipliers and persistent bonuses, while failed audits can wipe out all progress entirely.
