After surpassing 500,000 copies sold, the roguelike Absolum is making its way to mobile devices with versions for Android and iOS. The port was developed by Playdigious in partnership with Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, and Supamonks, bringing the action-adventure experience to a new platform. The game combines combat inspired by classic arcade beat 'em ups with modern roguelite elements, set in a fantasy universe where magic and rebellion are essential to challenging a tyrannical ruler.

The story follows a rebellion against Sun King Azra, who maintains an iron grip over the lands of Talamh. With the help of the high enchantress Uchawi, players must wield forbidden magic to liberate the region, choosing from four heroes with distinct combat styles. Galandra and Karl are available from the start, while Brome and Cider can be unlocked as players progress.

The gameplay blends action-packed encounters with strategic elements and roguelite progression. Each run provides opportunities to discover new items, complete quests, and acquire permanent upgrades, expanding the possibilities for future attempts. The hand-crafted environments are brought to life through Supamonks' 2D art direction and animation.

The mobile adaptation features a redesigned interface, with touch controls and a navigation system specifically developed for touchscreen devices. Controller support is also available for players who prefer physical inputs, while cloud saves allow progress to be shared between different Android or iOS devices.

On Android, the mobile version also supports cross-progression with PC through the same Google Play Games account, allowing players to switch between platforms without losing their progress. The release also includes achievements integrated with Google Play and Game Center, expanding the features available to players on both operating systems.
