Pablo Picazo, a solo developer of Dadum The Dice, announced that the demo is already available and that the game will take part in Steam Next Fest. The project presents a 3D tactical puzzle experience in which every decision matters, inviting players to think carefully before each move on a turn based grid, where the rotation of the die defines the course of the entire experience.

The gameplay revolves around simple movements up, down, left, or right, causing the die to roll with every step. The camera can be rotated to better plan each move, while enemies are defeated by positioning next to them with a higher number showing on the top face of the die. The concept is easy to grasp, but it quickly reveals challenges that demand reasoning and anticipation.

Throughout the journey across the so called Great Die, the game constantly introduces new mechanics, such as dice that increase or reduce values, cannons, teleporters, explosive mines, moving blocks, and enemies with unique behaviors. The levels are handcrafted and filled with traps, hazards, and surprises that expand strategic possibilities without overcomplicating the core rules.

Each world features creative bosses that break expectations and challenge players in different ways, requiring clever solutions like luring enemies into traps or exploiting specific weaknesses. Even as scenarios grow more complex, Dadum The Dice maintains a clear and accessible structure, focused on careful planning rather than fast reflexes.

With six themed worlds and 54 handcrafted levels, the experience delivers a linear campaign lasting around 6 to 7 hours, marked by a colorful and minimalist aesthetic. Without harsh penalties or excessive repetition, the game rewards experimentation and strategy, offering a consistent and fair challenge for fans of tactical puzzles seeking something simple in form yet deep in execution.
