The final stretch of the OctaRace Kickstarter campaign has arrived, and the development team is asking for the community's support to reach their goal. Created by Pixel Almost Perfect, a studio founded by two former Ubisoft developers, this arcade racing game is inspired by classic titles like Micro Machines. OctaRace offers a fun and accessible experience for up to eight players, both locally and online.

According to the studio, the Kickstarter campaign is crucial not only to complete the final stages of development but also to secure the game's physical production. "Support from backers will help bring OctaRace to life in a tangible format and ensure ongoing development with future content updates, online features, and much more." The racing game delivers fast-paced, exciting multiplayer action, paying tribute to the beloved spirit of retro arcade racing games.

OctaRace features simple controls combined with deep gameplay mechanics, making it suitable for players of all skill levels. It allows one to eight players to race together on the same couch or online, offering a variety of game modes for both solo and multiplayer sessions. The game's quick, family-friendly races encourage fun and competition in every round.

Players can choose from a wide selection of iconic vehicles and customize their cars with fun items, adding a personal touch to their racing style. Additionally, the game features a diverse and original cast of characters, each bringing a unique charm to the experience.

With its cheerful spirit and retro atmosphere reminiscent of the PlayStation 1 era, OctaRace offers a colorful and welcoming environment that invites players to enjoy fast, fun, and friendly competition. This project aims to revive the joy of classic arcade racing for a new generation of players.
